Bold and Dynamic Website Goes Live

On-line access to a wealth of information about opportunities, help and support for residents and businesses in the London borough of Barking & Dagenham is now available through a new website launched today (Monday 14 January).

The new website – www.boldanddynamic.co.uk – is the on-line home of Barking & Dagenham Enterprise, (BDE) the business sector-led organisation which is responsible for initiating and managing projects and programmes under the Government-funded Local Enterprise Growth Initiative Programme (LEGI). BDE works closely with the local authority and with its elected officers.

Welcoming the launch of the new on-line facility, Chris Oliver, chairman of BDE said:

Details of an impressive and comprehensive array of information and services are now available to visitors to the site. With our partners, BDE seeks to nurture and grow an enterprise culture through encouraging people to seize the opportunities available to them for training and development. The website will make an important contribution to our efforts”

Marketing its projects and programmes under the Bold and Dynamic brand, BDE helps people to find what they are looking for – from students looking to obtain a student bursary placement or an entrepreneur with a great idea or an existing business that wants to expand.

The www.boldanddynamic.co.uk website is designed to enable visitors to find what they are looking for quickly and easily, and provides rapid links to other websites including one to Enterprise Radio, the local on-line community radio station which has received initial funding from BDE. Other features include a regular ‘blog’ article by BDE’s Executive Director, Judy Chapman, and the site is designed so that new features can be added efficiently and cost- effectively.
