Barking & Dagenham Businesses Fight Back from Recession - 2010 Business Award Results
The third Barking and Dagenham Business Awards Gala Ceremony took place last night (Tuesday 6th July 2010) at the Castle Green Conference Centre in Dagenham. This was the best-ever year for the awards with the number of entries up and the quality of the entries was higher than ever before.
The Gala awards event, was hosted by BBC sport broadcaster Garry Richardson and was attended by 250 people from local businesses. There were 10 awards and a top prize of £3,000 for the business of the year.
Speaking at the event, Paul Bishop, Enterprise Champion, for Barking and Dagenham Enterprise said: “We were absolutely delighted with how many businesses entered this year. It shows that there is a thriving business community in Barking & Dagenham and the awards are a great way to showcase these success stories.”
