BDE celebrates good times

On 10th May we held an event to celebrate the achievements of the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative funded BDE programme, which ran from 2006-2010. Partners and providers involved in delivering the LEGI programme joined in the celebrations at the Broadway Theatre.

The event heard from student beneficiaries of the Enterprise Bursary from Robert Clack School and from small business beneficiary Bike Dock Solutions. Speakers included BDE Chair Chris Oliver, Tracie Evans (LBBD Director of Financial and Commerce services) and Simon Green, Chair of the Skills, Jobs and Enterprise (SJE) Board who congratulated the BDE Board on the achievements and committed the SJE Board to build on their strong legacy.
