Is Barking & Dagenham Enterprise part of the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham?
BDE grew out of the success of LBBD’s Barking and Dagenham Partnership in securing £15.5 million of funding from the government’s Department of Local Government and Communities to foster the spirit of enterprise locally.
BDE carries out that enterprise programme, and is overseen by a board whose chairman, Chris Oliver, is a local businessman. LBBD is represented on this board, as are representatives of other businesses and agencies.
