Why should I be interested in Barking & Dagenham Enterprise?

BDE grew out of the success of the Council’s Barking and Dagenham Partnership in securing £15.5 million of funding from the Government’s Department of Local Government and Communities Local Enterprise Growth Initiative programme to foster the spirit of enterprise locally. This programme came to an end in March 2010. The BDE team merged with the Council’s Economic Development team to form a single team covering the full range of enterprise and business support under the Single Programme. Within the Council, the team reports to the SJE Board.

What could Barking & Dagenham Enterprise do for me?

Put you in touch with the advice or help you need, quickly and efficiently. We work with 14 partner agencies and manage more than 30 programmes providing support as well as advice.

BDE is also creating the room for enterprises to grow by building managed workspace.
