Enterprising Business

Barking & Dagenham Enterprise (BDE) means business, and we and our partners operate in a business-friendly borough. BDE is a local, business-led body that helps people and business to seize opportunities created in the borough by the huge Thames Gateway and 2012 London Olympic Games regeneration and development programmes.

BDE helps people to return to work or to get a better job by linking them to new training and retraining opportunities. BDE also helps people to start or expand a business, assists companies to relocate to Barking & Dagenham, and provides space for businesses to start or grow.

This year BDE launches the Barking & Dagenham Business Awards 2008 on behalf of the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham to celebrate the energy, diversity and contribution to local life of businesspeople.
