Barking College

Barking College topped the league tables for Further Education College A/AS Levels & Level 3 qualifications for adjoining east London boroughs released in January 2007.

The College has Centres of Vocational Excellence in Construction, Engineering and Care

Skills and educational levels are increasing hugely with the upgrading of schools and the determination of the community to seize the new opportunities that now exist in this business-friendly borough.

Government funding through the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative is encouraging and supporting enterprise, while the public and private sectors are investing on a massive scale in Barking & Dagenham’s infrastructure.
