Celebrating four years of success

The Local Enterprise Growth Initiative funded Barking and Dagenham Enterprise programme has now come to an end. The programme, which ran from 2006 – 2010, and made excellent progress in delivering each of its three key pillars of work, which were: enterprise culture, access to support and space for enterprise. Over four years the team achieved 543 business start-ups, created 195 new jobs, assisted 1,898 business and advised 3,697 on enterprising opportunities, which includes self employment, business start-up, training and other general advice.
